India is making its presence felt in the 'Dubai 2005' airshow that began here today. About 726 exhibitors from 46 countries are taking part and over 100 state-of-art aircraft are on display at the aerospace show, inaugurated by General Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, crown prince of Dubai. |
The Brand India pavilion here is the first-ever from India and is coordinated by the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (Siati). "Siati is expecting to expand its initial pavilion space request," said Clive Richardson, chief executive, Fairs & Exhibitions. |

"We have successfully presented the case for Brand India and the Dubai airshow at a (recent) industry gathering in Bangalore and the feedback has been highly encouraging, with Siati expecting to expand its initial pavilion space request by around 20 per cent," said Clive Richardson, chief executive, aerospace division, fairs & exhibitions, the organisers of the show. |

Siati has 17 confirmed participants for the Brand India pavilion, including the Indian Space Research Organisation and the National Aerospace Laboratories. |

Other specialist participants include Tata Advanced Materials Ltd, Amphenol Interconnect (I) Pvt Ltd, Avdel (India) Pvt Ltd, Avon Oxygen, Bangalore Electroplating System Pvt Ltd and Cades Digitech Pvt Ltd. |

Globe hi-Fabs, Mayurakshi Equipments Pvt Ltd, Mak Controls & Systems Pvt Ltd, Polynex, Saras Technologies, Systems Controls, Sanghvi Aerospace (P) Ltd, Triveni hi-Tech Pvt Ltd and Titan Industries will also be participating. |
