IndiGo, Jet Airways slash fares

IndiGo and Jet Airways have offered dropped fares in an advance purchase sale to push up forward bookings. While IndiGo is offering tickets from Rs 1,178 onwards, Jet Airways is giving upto 50% discount on its domestic and international network.

The discount offer is valid till Wednesday and for travel between July 1- September 30. Apart from increasing forward sales such incentive offers also help airlines in increasing occupancy during low seasons.

Jet Airways is also giving discount on business class seats on short duration domestic flights and discount in this scheme can be availed for immediate travel.

IndiGo's is offering Rs 1,178 all inclusive one way fare on Indore-Mumbai route while tickets on key routes like Mumbai -Delhi and Mumbai-Bengaluru are priced upwards of Rs 2,999 and Rs 1,890 respectively.

These offers come close on heels of discount offers launched by Vistara and GoAir in the last few days.
