Infinix debuts in India with battery-centric Note 4, Hero 4 Pro smartphones

The unnamed smartphone that home-grown e-commerce major Flipkart had been promoting as a banner on its website recently was finally launched in India recently. The battery-centric ‘Note 4’ smartphone from the stable of Infinix, a premium smartphone brand owned by Transsion Holdings, is one of the two devices – Infinix Note 4 and Infinix Hot 4 Pro -- that were launched by the company in India on August 1.

Infinix Note 4

The on-budget Infinix Note 4 smartphone features a 5.7-inch FullHD IPS screen covered with 2.5D curved glass. The metallic build smartphone runs Android Nougat operating system out of the box skinned under a customized XOS UI layer for enhanced user experience. It has 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor and sports a big battery of 4300 mAh. The smartphone supports quick charge technology dubbed as Xcharge, which replenishes the battery charge by 75 per cent in just 60 minutes. The device comes with a 18W charger that supports the Xcharge technology for faster recharge times. On camera front, the device uses a 13-megapixel rear camera comes with ‘Pro’ mode that enables users to adjust the manual settings as per their requirement. There is an 8MP front facing camera with large 1.14 µm pixel size with customizable LED flash to deliver optimum light while clicking selfies. 

Infinix Note 4 is priced at Rs 8,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting August 3 in Ice Blue, Champagne Gold and Milan Black colour options.

Infinix Hot 4 Pro

The Infinix Hot 4 Pro features a 5.5-inch HD IPS screen. The smartphone houses a 4,000mAh battery, 16 GB internal storage and 3GB RAM. For music enthusiast, the smartphone sports dual speakers powered by Dirac Stereo Widening technology, which produces more immersive sound. The device features a 80db+ ultra-loud receiver and noise reduction technology that allow users to listen conveniently even in the noisiest of surroundings. There is a 13MP at the rear and a 5MP camera with a soft light flash at the front. 

The Hot 4 Pro is priced at Rs 7,499 and will be available starting August 3 in Bordeaux Red and Quartz Black, Magic Gold.

Both the Infinix smartphones support 4G-LTE with VoLTE support for HD calls and faster call connection. The smartphones also comes with dual-SIM card slots and one dedicated storage expandable slot, which supports up to 128GB of memory card. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded on both the devices that not only secures the phones but also doubles as a key for taking pictures, accepting calls and browsing pictures with ease.
