Infosys Technologies will not revise its revenue guidance for the fourth quarter of the current year despite the threat of war hanging over Iraq, Nandan Nilekani, chief executive officer and managing director, said here today.
He clarified that the guidance had been given keeping in mind the uncertainly of war.
He also freely admitted that threat of war created uncertainties, not just for Infosys but for others also.

Progeon, the business process outsourcing operations of the company, was doing well, Nilekani claimed, having earned a revenue of $ 1.4 million in the last quarter.
He felt outsourcing to India would continue despite opposition in the United States.
Nilekani addressed the press after inaugurating the core banking solution of Finacle, the flagship banking product of Infosys, at Union Bank of India.
Installation, project management and hardware supply have been handled by Wipro Infotech.
Nilekani said that the good talent available at Union Bank was now matched by good technology.
The full benefit from it would be reaped from roll out. Union Bank has, to begin with, connected 12 branches. By the end of the year 100 branches will be networked, and 500 by 2005.
