Infotech net up 12.6%

Revenues for the period under review increased to Rs 196.74 crore, as against Rs 153.07 crore in the corresponding period last year, up 28.52 per cent. EPS (basic) for the quarter stood at Rs 5.02 as against Rs 5.34.

For the financial year ended March 31, 2008, the company registered a net profit of Rs 78.36 crore compared with Rs 74.41 crore, an increase of 5.3 per cent. Revenues were up 26.8 per cent at Rs 696.8 crore, compared with Rs 549.26 crore in the previous fiscal. EPS (basic) stood at Rs 16.69 compared with Rs 17.82.

According to Chairman and Managing Director BVR Mohan Reddy, the German and the US subsidiaries have grown in excess of 42 per cent and 36 per cent respectively. The Asia-Pacific, India and West Asia contributed to about 10 per cent of the revenues.
