Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKML) has sold 4,011 Innovas in March while total sales in March increased 25% to 5,518 units over the previous year - its highest-ever monthly sales. Sales for the year ended March 31, 2005 totalled 43,077 units - up 1.2% from the previous year. TKML sold 1,332 units of Corolla in March - up 47% from the previous year- and 9,942 units in FY05. The company sold 136 units of Camry in March and 872 units in the full fiscal.TKML is aiming at selling 45,000 Innovas in 2005 and 60,000 units in 2006.K K Swamy, deputy MD of TKML, said: "We are encouraged by the fact that despite Qualis not being available in the market for two months, we have managed to outperform last year's sales figures."
