Intel, the technology provider company, has launched a nationwide integrated campaign to increase the relevance and demand of personal computing devices and drive domestic adoption of technology in India.

It is targeting consumers with the message of how a PC can change their life.

This six weeks long campaign has started today from Jaipur and will reach out to consumers in a targeted manner across ten states through a series of interventions in the form of print advertisements, out of home visibility, radio jingles and its on-ground experiential program called ‘My Discoveries’.

Through its on-ground activities and retail marketing programs, Intel said it will continue to educate consumers on why a PC is a transformational device. The campaign will cover forty cities across ten states – Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal.

“Intel realises the benefits a PC can bring to a consumer to help accentuate a person’s skills and employability, foster growth and nurture creativity; thereby helping bring about a nationwide change”, said Sandeep Aurora, Director – Marketing and Market Development, Intel South Asia.

“In our quest to bring about nationwide awareness for digital literacy, we will continue to scale our efforts under the National Digital Literacy Mission and through this new campaign we will urge consumers to pursue their passions and creativity with the power of an Intel processor powered computer,” Aurora added.

As part of this campaign, Intel will create experience zones under its ‘My Discoveries’ program across 40 cities. The basic premise of the “Intel My Discoveries” campaign is that consumers can make discovery every day if they are empowered by a PC. These experience zones will showcase the interplay between multiple devices and the inspiration an Intel processor powered PC can offer to co-create something delightful to explore the world through the PC.

Intel through its Intel Technology Providers network will also provide people with information on personal computers, their usage and benefits.

“Intel believes that technology can play a huge role in ending the digital divide in India and driving personal growth, be it in developing job skills or providing easy access to quality education, healthcare and critical government services,” Aurora added.

The main premise of this campaign is that in today’s day and age, users want more than just a personal computer. Today personal computing devices are an extension of the users themselves with the internet and compelling content being the center point of the user’s experience.
