Intel training school

Intel on Tuesday announced the opening of the Intel Software College, a comprehensive training school, that will support India's software developer community by expanding their skills on Intel software and technologies.

The Software College will hold lab sessions focused on mobility software and high performance computing, ideal for developers involved in software planning, software optimisation, benchmarking and overall performance.

It will deliver a broad range of courses on processors, software technologies, optimisations and operating environments.

The training centre will also offer developers hands-on experience in its hardware lab which is equipped with Itanium 2-based systems, laptops with Hyper Threading and Centrino Mobile Technology and PDAs based on Intel's architecture.

Other courses will focus on software development technologies with training facilitated by next generation development platforms and software development products. "Intel Software College is a result of Intel's desire to help the Indian developers."
