The number of Kisan Seva Kendras, or scaled-down petrol pumps for rural areas, will also witness a rise, with 50 more to be set up in West Bengal. |

"As part of IOC's plans for the public distribution system in West Bengal, the existing kerosene dealer network of more than 200 will be utilised to step up the kerosene supply in association with the consumer goods department of the state government in the block levels,'' said Gautam Datta, general manager of the West Bengal circle. |

Datta said IOC would help kerosene dealers by providing tanks and dispensing pumps. |

IOC launched its brand Swagat through a brand promotion with partners like Saregama and Hero Honda Motorcycles to distribute free music cassettes to customers on purchase of its premium diesel worth Rs 1,000, premium fuel worth Rs 3,000 and more than 5 litres of engine oil. Buyers would get gift vouchers and be eligible for a lucky draw for Hero Honda motorcycles. |
