"The accommodation should consist of minimum 6 rooms with attached bath preferably located in Miramar, Panjim and must be in close proximity to beach area," its tender document said. "The offered premises should be ready-to-occupy and fully furnished."
IOC will guarantee 120 nights in a year for each room. Besides seeking rate per room inclusive of bed tea and breakfast for 3 persons per day per room, IOC wanted food rates at a discount to the menu card rate.
The company plans to hire the accommodation for a minimum 5 years, a period which can be extended by another 5 years on mutual agreed terms and conditions.
IOC, which owns and operates 10 of India's 22 refineries and a little less than half of the nation's 44,000 petrol pumps in the country, has about 35,000 employees including 14,210 officers.
Majority owned by the government, the company commands a 49 per cent share in the petroleum products market, 31 per cent share in refining capacity and 67 per cent downstream sector pipelines capacity in India.
