Professor Vijay Mahajan has taken over the reins from Dr Pramath Sinha as the new Dean at the Hyderabad-based Indian School of Business (ISB).
Sinha has been involved with ISB right from its inception in 1996 as the founder Dean and CEO. He will continue to support the institute as a member of its executive board.
Mahajan, holds a degree from IIT Kanpur, while he did his MS and PhD from the University of Texas.

He holds the John P Harpbin Centennial chair in Business at the McCombs School of Business, the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to this, he has served at the Wharton School of Business.
ISB, which held its first convocation ceremony for its founding class of 128 students, has achieved 90 per cent placement in its first year with leading companies like Bombardier, Coke, GE, Gillette, HLL, HSBC, Wipro, Reliance among others.
The institute has enrolled 168 students in its second batch. It is introducing an additional Leadership Development Programme this year.
