Ohio-based Blair Rubber Company has launched a new international marketing initiative with city-based Ishan Equipment Pvt Ltd to increase their exports of rubber linings and belt splice material in India.
"After visiting the plant of this company, we decided to enter into a joint venture with it. Our products are needed worldwide. Every country stores and transports harsh, hazardous chemicals and processes food and wastewater.
"Our products do a superior job of protecting vessels and equipment from corrosion and potential spills," company's director (sales and marketing) Nalex Cordove told PTI here.
Blair Rubber Company is keen on increasing their exports of rubber lining in India, he said.
Headquartered in Seville, Ohio, Blair Rubber manufactures rubber linings which are used in interior of storage tanks, rail cars, food processing, wastewater and nuclear environments to protect metal and concrete from corrosion.
Ishan Equipment, with more than 18 years of experience, offers a wide range of rubber linings to cater to diverse industries, its Chairman and Managing Director K M Panchal said.
"This is the first such plant in Gujarat that will provide solutions to customer's problem in rubber lining," he said, adding that the company has been catering to major fertilisers, petro chemicals, power sector, water treatment and chloro-alkali industries.
"Our vision is to supply self-designed and manufactured rubber lining process equipment world wide. That is why we have entered into collaboration with Blair Rubber company", Panchal said.
