Ispat Industries posted a net profit of Rs 8.37 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with a net loss of Rs 111.49 crore in Q1FY07.According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 1,859.26 crore from Rs 1,680.41 crore in Q1FY07.
