ITC today reported a 2% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,295.38 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 2,245.42 crore in FY05.According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 10,637.99 crore from Rs 8,316.71 crore in FY05.The company, on a stand-alone basis, has posted a profit of Rs 567.89 crore in Q4FY06 as against Rs 771.75 crore in Q4FY05. Total income increased to Rs 2,859.08 crore from Rs 2,236.43 crore in Q4FY05.The company has posted a net profit of Rs 2,235.35 crore in FY06 as against Rs 2,191.40 crore in FY05. Total income increased to Rs 10,076.61 crore from Rs 7,875.26 crore in FY05.The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2.65 per share of Re 1/- each for the year ended March 31, 2006, the release added.
