The company, which at present exports the over-the-counter medicine only to Russia, plans to expand export to many Eurpoean, Latin American, African and Asian markets.
The company officials said JBCPL at present earns an annual revenue of around Rs 50 crore from the export of Doktor Mom lozenges and plans to double this in a year.
Set up at a cost of Rs 28 crore, the EOU has a one-line manufacturing facility with machines purchased from Kockner, Germany.
The plant has a capacity to produce two crore lozenges per month.
