Jain Irrigation, micro irrigation company and an agriculture conglomerate, has bagged Rs 65 crore order of Balh Valley irrigation project in Himachal Pradesh.
This integrated project involves survey, investigation,planning, designing, supply and execution, the company informed Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in a press release. This project is part of Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) in Balh valley in Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh.
Under the project, water would be brought to the fields from off-take point of BBMB main canal using modern irrigation methods to irrigate the fields of over 3,000 farmers through micro irrigation systems, said the company release.
