Jaiprakash Associates today reported a 53% increase in net profit at Rs 156 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 when compared with Rs 102 crore in Q3FY07.According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased 7.62% to Rs 1,002 crore from Rs 931 crore in Q3FY07.The board, which met today, announced the second interim dividend of 15% i.e Re 0.30 per share of Rs 2 each. The company has set January 28 as the record date for the payment of the dividend.
