JCB India enters into hand and power tools segment

JCB India Limited, India's largest manufacturer of Construction Equipment, today announced its entry into Hand & Power Tools segment in India as a brand extension and part of its quality consumer products portfolio. JCB has entered into an agreement with leading Hand and Power Tools manufacturers - Groz Private Limited and Master Alloys Limited respectively to manufacture, source and distribute JCB branded tools. 
 
The company  has specifically designed a range for the Indian market to serve robust usage and longevity. The wide range of Power tools include Angle Grinder with back & Side Switch, Circular saw, Planer, Marble Cutter, Electrical Drill and Rotary Hammer etc. The Hand Tools range includes best in class tools storage solutions, specialty tool sets, cutting & pipe tools, measuring & layout tools, striking & finishing and general tools for Automotive and Industrial applications. 
 
JCB India works in safe working conditions with the most stringent safety norms in effect at its manufacturing facilities in Ballabgarh and Pune. The company also believes in promoting safety at workplace in a big way and with that as the guiding principle, JCB unveiled an entire range of rugged, reliable and stylish safety shoes in 2010. 
 
JCB already provides a wide range of consumer products such as T-Shirts, Caps, Watches, Stationary, Shoes, Bags, Key Chains etc. in over 150 countries and with the addition of Hand and Power Safety Tools,  the best is just getting better, a press release said.
