Earthmoving equipment manufacturer JCB India Limited is expecting that the industry would grow by 20 per cent during 2010.
"The industry had experienced de-growth last year due to the slowdown. But things are moving up," MD and CEO of JCB India Vipin Sondhi said.
He said that the company, a subsidiary of JCB of UK, was the market leader in the earthmoving equipment segment with a market share of 53 per cent.
In 2009, the company sold 13,000 units.
The company also exports components and fabricated parts to its UK parent.
