Jet Airways will be introducing a new flight linking Delhi with Toronto via Brussels from September 5, 2007, followed by a flight from Chennai to Toronto by the end of October. |
The five-times-a-week flight will also connect to New York, via its hub in Brussels. At Brussels, flights will be synchronised in order to provide passengers seamless transfer access between Delhi and New York and Mumbai and Toronto. Jet Airways will operate the Delhi-Brussels-Toronto flight with an Airbus 330-200 aircraft. |

"Hyderabad too is on our radar for connecting to Toronto. To start with, we will be launching services from Hyderabad via Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai, and introduce direct flights from the city once the Shamshabad International Airport is fully operational," Ragini Chopra, vice-president (corporate communications and public relations), told mediapersons here on Monday. |

She said the airline was awaiting permission to fly aircraft to West Asia and should be launching the services to the region by early 2008. |
|
According to her, the airline has ordered 10 new Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft and 10 Airbus 330-200s, of which four each have already been delivered and are operating on the India-London route. |
|
"We expect all the aircraft to be inducted into our fleet by March 2008," she said. |
