Jet Airways today said it was revising fuel surcharge by Rs 150 from August 8. The surcharge will be applicable on all types of fares in both Club Premiere and Economy Class tickets on all domestic routes in India.Jet said the increase had been necessitated due to the continuing escalation in aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices. "This is the second consecutive revision carried out in fuel surcharge in the last two months mirroring the hike in ATF prices," Jet said. The total fuel surcharge now stands at Rs 650, up from Rs 500. Jet said for tickets issued outside outside India, a surcharge of $14 per sector will be applicable on domestic travel within India.
