"Jet's tie up with Etihad will create value and synergy for both the airlines," Jet Chairman Naresh Goyal told reporters here today.
"This agreement will help in boosting our revenues and facilitate air travel for the fliers," he said.
The codeshare agreement would be applicable between Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Abu Dhabi.
Both airlines would honour the frequent flyer points of the other airline. Jet's passengers can earn and redeem points on Etihad and vice versa.

Goyal also said that his company would look at introducing services of JetLite, a low-cost carrier, to destinations in the Gulf and more routes in South East Asia.
The Jet Chairman said that this year the aviation industry would lose Rs 9,000 crore because of high oil prices. "Oil is killing everybody including the economy, not only the airlines," Goyal said.
