I / Mumbai March 14, 2005The shares of Jet Airways (India) finished Day 1 at Rs 1,304.20 on the NSE - a gain of 18.56% (Rs 204) to the IPO offer price of Rs 1,100 per share.The counter clocked a huge volume of nearly 1.28 crore shares and a turnover of Rs 1,608 crore, according to data available on the website of NSE.The scrip closed at Rs 1,305 on the BSE with a volume of over 68 lakh shares. The first trade on the NSE was struck for 4,000 shares at Rs 1,428, an NSE official said after the listing ceremony. The scrip was listed on the BSE at Rs 1,211.The 1.72 crore shares offered in the IPO had raised Rs 1,899 crore for the company.Deutsche Equities, HSC Securities, UBS Securities, Citigroup, DSP Merrill Lynch and Kotak Mahindra were the book-running lead managers for the IPO.
