The London-bred actress said in a recent interview, "I'm over the moon about the royal baby. But I really can't mount an argument in favour of the monarchy. Is that treason? Do I have to turn in my passport?"
The former 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, who's engaged to Klaxons keyboardist James Righton, said she is not keen on a grand Royal Wedding-styled celebration for her D Day, reported Marie Claire.
"We're not really big-wedding types. I don't need to have all that," she said,
Knightley, 27, opened up a bit about her rocker fiance.
"I'm not someone who listens to a lot of music. But I get wonderful perspective by being with someone who is less like me than more like me. The way he thinks is something I don't get. We come at things from totally different angles."
