JK Cement today reported 26.55 per cent decline in its standalone net profit at Rs 43.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 59.78 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal, JK Cement said in a filing to the BSE.
The total income during the fourth quarter, however, rose by 25.16 per cent to Rs 542.08 crore from Rs 433.11 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
For the entire 2009-10 fiscal, the Kanpur-based cement maker's net profit increased by 58.77 per cent at Rs 226 crore as against Rs 142.34 crore in the previous fiscal.
The total income in last financial year stood at Rs 1,845.44 crore compared to Rs 1,502.46 crore, up 22.83 per cent.
The company has declared a final dividend of 35 per cent at Rs 3.50 per share, the filing said.
"This along with an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 (25 per cent) per share works out to a total dividend of Rs 6 (60 per cent) per share for the year 2009-10," it added.
