JK Cement to provide insurance to contractors

JK White Cement Ltd, a leading manufacturer of cement in India, in an attempt to strengthen its relations with the contractors, has decided to insure them against any unfortunate incident by providing accidental insurance cover of up to Rs 1 lakh to them.

Informing the company's contractors in Agra about the scheme, Mohan Sharma, DGM (Marketing), JK White Cement Ltd, said, the contractors were prone to unfortunate incidents while working on site and to bring a sense of security in them, it had been decided to cover them with insurance of Rs 1 lakh.

On the occasion, Binoy Kumar Dutta, Manager, Application & Development, claimed that JK White Cement Ltd was the leading brand of white cement in India, used as cement paint in houses and government buildings and the insurance cover had been extended to cover even the paint contractors, of which, over 125 were registered with the company's regional office at Agra and were there to attend this meeting.
