Talent management and training services company TMI Group said its voice-based jobs portal for MSMEs is tailored to identify job seekers located in their vicinity.
"Most MSMEs want smaller geographies to choose from when it comes to employing individuals. In our studies, we also observed there was a high preference amongst the job seekers to work close to their living places," TMI Group chairman T Muralidharan told mediapersons here today.
The voice-based mobile solution -- Jobs Dialog -- gathers candidate details, forwards the same to the job providers, which is followed by a filtering process by the latter according to the experience and requirement needs. This is then followed by an interview by the employer.
The entire information is facilitated through partnered corporate contact centres (call centres) for engaging job seekers and the potential employers.
TMI has partnered with Idea Cellular for enhancing the last mile connectivity and with Hinduja group's HJS Global for maintaining the MSME contact centre.
Muralidharan said the company expected 1,500-2,000 MSMEs to use Jobs Dialog in the first year of its launch and hoped to place 5,000 individuals having an experience of 0-6 years through it each month pan-India.
This year, it plans to cover entire Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In the next three years, it wants to expand the service to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region.
While the product has undergone extensive pilot testing in the last few months, it would be commercially available by the end of this month. Union Minister for MSME Kalraj Mishra would unveil and announce the launch on August 26 here.
