JP Morgan announces FIG head South- East Asia, India

Global financial services major JP Morgan today announced the appointment of Charles-Everard de T'Serclaes as Head of financial institutions group (FIG) for south-east Asia. The company also appointed Chetan Singh as Head of FIG for India.

Charles-Everard de T'Serclaes, who has been with JP Morgan for 12 years, will lead the FIG business in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. He will retain his responsibilities as Head of Insurance, Asia ex-Japan, the release said.

Singh, who joins the company in November, was previously with Citigroup's European FIG investment banking team. He will lead JP Morgan's FIG practice in India where the financial services sector is experiencing accelerated growth. He will also act as a senior M&A banker, partnering with the broader investment banking team in India.
