Total income increased 18.76 per cent to Rs 2,218.77 crore in the period. The JSW board on Thursday also approved the merger of Southern Iron and Steel Company with JSW Steel. |

Mumbai: Business from global markets powered Sun Pharmaceutical Industries net profit to Rs 228.9 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2007, a 17 per cent increase over the Rs 192.8 crore registered in the corresponding quarter last year. |
As per the consolidated figures, net sales increased by 25 per cent to Rs 667.9 crore, from Rs 536.2 crore. Global drug sales grew 38 per cent. |
