FMCG company Jyothy Laboratories Ltd today said its consolidated net profit rose by 94 per cent to Rs 74.34 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010.
Total income rose to Rs 604.83 crore for the January-March quarter ended 2010 from Rs 364.19 crore in the same period last fiscal, Jyothy Laboratories said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The board has proposed a dividend of Rs 4 per equity shares on the face value of Rs 1 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2010.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 80 crore, up nearly 100 per cent over the same period a year-ago.
Shares of Jyothy Laboratories were trading at Rs 179.55 on the BSE, down 0.53 per cent from previous close.
