Jyoti Structures bags orders worth Rs 1,200 crore

The orders include manufacture and supply of 36,000 MT of towers

Power transmission company Jyoti Structures has recently secured export orders worth Rs 1,200 crore from countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia, Nigeria, Philippines and Tajikistan.

“The orders pertain to engineering, tower testing and turn key construction of transmission lines and sub stations,” according to a statement on the exchange website.

The orders include manufacture and supply of 36,000 MT of towers, the company added.

The company also suggested that it expects an increase in demand for its services.

“With manufacturing and construction bases in strategic locations in India and abroad, Jyoti is poised to benefit from the demand upturn for power transmission and distribution networks,” it said.

The company is involved in providing services with a focus on Transmission Lines, Substations and Distribution Projects. The company has manufacturing plants at Nashik, Raipur and Dubai with a combined manufacturing capacity of 1,60,000 MT of Transmission Line Towers, according to the company’s website.  

It also has an in-house Tower Testing facility at Ghoti, Igatpuri, India.

It had a revenue of Rs 2,805.91 crore and a net profit of Rs 64.88 crore. It had an operating profit margin of 10.4% and a net profit margin of 2.31%.

The stock was up 5.61% and trading at Rs 21.65 at 11:50 am.
