Kajaria Ceramics Q4 net up 37% at Rs 42.11 cr

Company had posted consolidated net profit of Rs 30.7 crore for the January-March quarter of 2012-13

Kajaria Ceramics today reported 36.85% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 42.11 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013-14.

The company had posted consolidated net profit of Rs 30.77 crore for the January-March quarter of 2012-13.

Kajaria Ceramics' Q4 net sales rose to Rs 523.9 crore, up 19.77%, from Rs 437.41 crore the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.

Its overall expenses stood at Rs 452.23 crore in the January-March quarter, compared with Rs 379.8 crore in the same period a year ago.

Kajaria Ceramics scrip was trading at Rs 465.50 in the afternoon trade, up 0.03%, on the BSE.
