Kanchan Paper Jewellery to open showroom in Lucknow

Kanchan Paper Jewellery is going to open its first exclusive company-owned showroom in Lucknow tomorrow. The company is owned by Kanpur-based designer duo Nitin and Kanchan Gupta.

The brand was formally introduced in the Lucknow market on August 5. With its manufacturing unit at Kanpur, the company has about seven dealers in Lucknow and about fifteen in the country.

The product range includes jewellery in the price range of Rs 20 to Rs 8,000. Moti, manik, gems, swarovski crystals and various other decorative materials have been used for manufacturing. The jewellery is water- and sweat-proof.

"In order to provide quality and durable products, the raw materials like beads and stones are procured from Japan, Korea, Australia and Taiwan," said Nishant Singh of KN Enterprises.

The company is organising a three-day exhibition of jewellery designs in Sitapur, starting from tomorrow. Gorakhpur, Allahabad and Varanasi will follow the Sitapur exhibition.

The company started operations eight years ago and is exporting to Germany, Europe and Italy.

"The future of paper jewellery is very bright considering the increasing interest in artificial jewellery," added Singh.
