Delhi-based Startup BigFoot Retail Solutions today announced the launch of Kartrocket, an e-commerce platform for Indian SMEs and retailers. The company also raised seed fund from 5ideas Startup Superfuel and 500 Startups. The round has been led by 5ideas Startup Superfuel and co-invested by 500 Startups and angel investor Jatin Aneja.
With Kartrocket, SMEs can launch their online sales with the store-front designs, domestic and international payment options covering prepaid and cash on delivery, a shipping platform (ShipRocket) integrated with domestic and international logistic carriers and a single shipping dashboard that would help manage shipping and returns.
Stores on Kartrocket are mobile ready, helping SMEs to sell across web and mobile devices. In addition to online store, Kartrocket also helps gain customers by integrating selling and managing orders across marketplaces like Ebay and Amazon. Kartrocket also has in-built marketing features like coupons, viral marketing tools, gift certificates, Facebook selling, automatic onsite SEO and more. Kartrocket stores come at a made for India pricing starting at Rs 500 per month going up to only Rs 7,000 per month for the fully loaded package.

The start-up launched its public beta in January this year and has since then acquired over 100 paying customers and more than 500 trial customers in categories such as clothing, designer wear, accessories, mobiles & electronics, food items, baby products, home and garden and industrial products.
Some prominent brands running their e-commerce stores on Kartrocket are DaMilano, designer Gaurav Gupta, Gyans, Karol Bagh Saree House, Valyoo Technologies, GlobaliteSport and Fotocolor Emporium. Kartrocket is co-founded by Saahil Goel, Gautam Kapoor and Vishesh Khurana.
