Karur Vysya Bank Q1 net up 10.24% to Rs 134 cr
Bank's total income up by 3.83% to Rs 1,518.50 cr
BS Reporter Chennai Karur Vysya Bank has reported a 10.24 per cent growth in net profit during the quarter ended June, at Rs 134.6 crore, compared with Rs 122.07 crore, a year ago. Total income rose to Rs 1,518 crore from Rs 1462 crore, up by 3.8 per cent.
Net non-performance assets (NPAs) of the bank increased to 0.9 per cent, compared with 0.8 per cent during the previous quarter. The bank posted 0.53 per cent profit in the June quarter last year. Gross NPAs rose to 1.9 per cent from 1.3 per cent, a year ago. In terms of quantum gross NPAs stood at Rs 713.07 crore, against Rs 451 crore, a year ago.
