Private sector lender Karur Vysya Bank today reported an over 49 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 113.22 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The bank had earned a profit of Rs 75.87 crore in the same period of the last financial year.
Its total income increased to Rs 645.87 crore in the October-December 2010-11 quarter from Rs 512.11 crore in the same quarter last year, the bank said in a BSE filing.
Net profit of the bank in the nine month period ended December 31, 2010 was Rs 300.30 crore against Rs 237.12 crore in the same period of the last fiscal.
In the afternoon trade, shares of Karur Vysya Bank were trading at Rs 513.05, up 1.56 per cent from the previous day close.
