KEC International, a leading power transmission company dealing in the engineering, procurement and construction business, on Thursday said that it had bagged two orders worth Rs291 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL).
“In the last two months alone KEC’s order book in the domestic market has surged by Rs1200 crore by winning various orders from PGCIL, RGGVY, and Railways,” said Ramesh Chandak, managing director and chief executive officer of KEC international in a statement to Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday.
The first order that the company has got it is for the supply and construction of 275 Kms line in Madhya Pradesh associated with Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project. The second order is for the supply and construction of 108 Kms long line in Assam. Both the projects are two be completed by November 2011.
