RPG Group company KEC International has clocked a 85 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 46 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal.
The company's net profit in the year-ago period was Rs 25 crore.
Its net sales in the reporting quarter stood at Rs 949 crore against Rs 887 crore, up 7 per cent, a press release issued here today stated.
"The company has seen a good quarter with a large number of order inflows. We are delighted that the profit for the quarter has jumped by 85 per cent," KEC International's Managing Director & CEO, Ramesh Chandak, said.
"Going forward, fuelled by a healthy order-book and a sizeable amount of tenders in the pipeline, we are confident of continuing this impressive performance," he added.
The company's order-book is at an all-time high of Rs 6,051 crore as on date. Of this, 53 per cent comes from the south-Asian market and the balance 47 per cent from the international market, the release said.
