Consulting and IT services provider Satyam Computer Services and Oracle have implemented the Oracle e-business suite for Kenya Airways.
In a joint press release issued on Thursday, the companies said the Oracle applications had streamlined the airline’s financial, human resources and procurement processes and enhanced its ability to manage people, processes and resources. It will also enable Kenya Airways’ employees to handle important tasks like procurement and expense management much more quickly and accurately.
“The implementation has helped Satyam expand its footprint in East Africa, a region it views as critical. Africa is an important emerging economy, and we look forward to helping Kenya Airways play an important role in its success,” Sriram Papani, senior vice-president (Oracle practice), Satyam, said.
