UB Group owned Kingfisher Airlines has decided to raise Rs 500 crore by way of equity. This was decided in the company’s Board meeting held on Tuesday.
The company which has a debt burden of about Rs 6,000 crore says that they are planning to go for a rights and depository issue, for the proposed fund raising.
It is understood that the company is in the process of appointing a merchant banker to expedite the processs.
