Klaus Multiparking Systems Private Limited, a 50:50 joint venture between Germany’s Klaus Multiparking GmbH and Pune-based Automag India Private Limited, is bullish on Indian automobile industry. The company, specialised in erection and commissioning of multi level parking systems, hopes that the fast growing passenger car industry and rapid urbanisation of Indian cities will drive its sales in India
The company is expected to erect and commission 5,000 car spaces by this December in the country. It has recently commissioned a 350-car parking system at UB City, the latest landmark in Bangalore, at a cost of Rs 5.5 crore. Klaus Multiparking is currently working on four other projects in Bangalore, including Prestige Alfa (166 car space), Prestige Nebula (72 car space), Prestige Dynasty and Featherlite Industries (18 car space).
Apart from private buildings, the company is also looking at government buildings in the city.
