Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd (KOEL), a Kirloskar Group company and one of the leading manufacturers of Diesel Engines in India, has said it is eyeing 20 per cent year-on-year sales growth for the next two years by FY 2012-13.
"We have set 20 per cent sales growth target for the current FY 2010-11 and we expecting to maintain 20 per cent year-on-year growth for the next two years by FY 2012-13,” Atul Kirloskar, Chairman & Managing Director, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, who was here in Nashik, told Business Standard.
When asked him about the KOEL’s expansion plans, Kirloskar said, “We are planning to expand our product range and volume.” But, he avoided divulge more details.
“We are also focusing on increasing our export. Presently, our export contributes 10-15 per cent of our total sales. Now, our export has started picking up,” he said.
Kirloskar Group has a big plot near Eklahare (20 kms from Nashik). When asked him whether the Kirloskar Group has any new project plans there, he said, “We are planning to do something there and couple of projects are also in the pipeline, but we have still not decided the deadline.” He declined to share more information in this regard.
