Kotak Securities has replaced Motilal Oswal Securities as the number one domestic brokerage house, according to a poll by Asiamoney.UBS topped the poll for the second consecutive year in overall combined research and sales category in Asia (ex-Australia & Japan) as per the 17th annual brokers poll where more than 1,600 investors from about 1,000 different institutions participated.CLSA, which had withdrawn from the 2005 poll, was in the second place in Asia ranking followed by JP Morgan, an official release said. Goldman Sachs and Citigroup both jumped into the top five taking fourth and fifth places, respectively.
