In the next five years, the company is targeting to sell 500,000 cases of premium vodka pan-India and plans to invest $8-10 million by 2018. According to International Wines and Spirits data, the 9 million cases Indian vodka segment was growing at 22 per cent as against the industry average of 13.5 per cent. The premium vodka market is 1-million cases per annum.
“To make our product more visible, we have tied up with Fashion TV,” said Arun Aditya, managing director, Kristal Spirits. The company on Thursday launched the premium Fashion Vodka party and luxury collection in the Andhra Pradesh market. It will soon introduce the product in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Goa and Mumbai, he said.
