According to a release issued by L&T to the BSE today, LTEM, which is based in Oman, has secured the contract to construct 293 km of 132 kv overhead transmission lines interconnecting various existing sub-stations. The order also includes construction of new transmission lines and additional substations in the oil fields of interior Oman.
"The work is scheduled to be completed by February 2007," the release added.
