Engineering major Larsen & Toubro today said it has bagged orders totalling to Rs 2,325 crore from various vendors during the third quarter of the current fiscal.
The company, during the third quarter of the year 2009-10, has received contracts for construction of residential towers, hospitals, exhibition centre, IT parks and factory building projects, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company has secured a Rs 800-crore order from Oberoi Realty and a Rs 625-crore contract from DB Realty for the construction of residential towers in Mumbai.
Further, the company has received a Rs 410-crore order from Engineering Projects (India) for the construction of a hospital and a medical college and Rs 490-crore worth of orders from various clients, the filing added.
"These further enhance the order book of the company, which has already secured orders for major design and build contracts for Airports, IT parks and commercial spaces," the filing added.
Shares of Larsen and Toubro were trading at Rs 1,682.25 on the BSE, down 0.65 per cent from previous close.
