Engineering company Larsen & Toubro today said it bagged construction-related orders worth Rs 966 crore from Sterlite Industries India, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam and Gujarat Water Infrastructure.
The company's metallurgical, material handling and water operating company - a part of its construction division has secured these orders, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Out of the Rs 966 crore, the company has got a Rs 225-crore order for engineering-related works from Sterlite Industries India, a Rs 488-crore order from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam and a Rs 253-crore order from Gujarat Water Infrastructure for water supply related works, it added.
The company would provide sewage system and waste water management system, it said.
Shares of Larsen & Toubro were trading at Rs 1,683.95 on the BSE, up 1.64 per cent from its previous close.
