L&T bags repeat orders for four generators from NPCIL

Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) today said it has bagged repeat orders for four steam generators from Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL).

The company has bagged orders for design, manufacture and supply of four steam generators for the Rajasthan Atomic Power Plant (RAPP), L&T said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Earlier in March, L&T had bagged an order worth Rs 345 crore for the supply of four steam generators to be used in Kakrapar Atomic Power Project from NPCIL.

Meanwhile, L&T has also bagged a technology development order from Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) for Welded Grid Plate, the filing said.

With these two new orders, L&T's nuclear plant equipment business unit has won orders totaling to Rs 405 crore over the last one week, the filing added.

Shares of L&T were trading at Rs 1,611.90 on the BSE, up 0.67 per cent from previous close.
