Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced that the ECC division of the company has won three deals totaling Rs 347 crore from the Kerala Water Authority (KWA) for the construction of treated water transmission main and associated work.According to a release issued by L&T to the BSE today, the project is aided by Japan Bank for International Co-operation (JBIC), and will benefit around 43 lakh people in Kerala."The project objectives are to augment and rehabilitate water supply systems of the urban regions, namely Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode, in Kerala. The project, when completed, will ensure drinking water supply to the people in the benefited areas and ultimately improve public health and the environment," the release added.
