According to a release issued by Lakshmi Machine Works to the BSE today, the share capital of JEL is Rs 3.20 crore consisting of 32 lakh shares of Rs 10 each. "Keeping in mind the fact that this is a sick industrial undertaking registered with the Board for Industrial and financial Reconstruction (BIFR), the directors have decided to acquire the shares at Re 1 per share," the release added.
